As part of giving back to the society, ESLP Consultants Ltd is setting up a Process Safety Academy aimed at helping young safety engineers to ramp up their skills and competencies in safety engineering for oil & gas operations. This service will be on pro-bono basis, in partnership with Nigerian Institution Of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE) Rivers Branch.
The program will be online and is designed to run (lecture) for 2 hours every month starting.
The program will start with the basic oil and gas facilities operations, process design of an oil & gas facility, work the designed facility through HAZOP, SIL assessment (LOPA), Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment (FERA), Hazardous Area Classification, Layout, Bowtie Analysis and development of Safety Case for the facility
The plan is to start this program in March 2021 and is likely to be a week day evening program
No fees will be charged, just come with the zeal to learn safety engineering in oil and gas operations
